Hints:

1. You must train in certain places (towns). The Warriors Guild is in a town
called 'Arena', the Wizards Guild is in a small town to the north east of
   the mountain range.
2. In Blackfort you must:
   a. Kill Devir to get the Royal Seal
   b. Kill Orc to get a Sword +1 (magic!)
   c. Rescue the Priest to get his blessing.
3. In Edrin you must:
   a. Kill Skeleton to get key
   b. Kill Fighters to get weapons
   c. Raid the Wizard's Lab
   d. Defeat the Giant and use the Royal Seal to enter various rooms
4. At the Gate Keeper you must:
   a. Kill all Shambling Mounds
   b. Enter the pool room, drinking from this pool will cure hit points.
   c. Kill Swamp King and take his head
   d. Use Gate Keeper to get to Fire Island (note that this should be the
last thing you do, from here you must fight for the Shard!)
5. Ralith (I've never been here!)
   a. You must know the ancient spell to break its gates (starts with 'DAZE')
   b. Use Crystal Stick to break the force shield..
   c. Get Dove from balcony (this is your only way of escape!)
   d. Once you get to Ralith, you should be ready to fight Dragons, Men,
Giants, Gragoyles, Demons, and Elementals, so be strong!

That does it for me.....look forward to a complete solve and/or
Editor soon.

Note on SSI: They have now switched to RDOS 3.3 which is *NOT* compatible
with the original RDOS 2.1 (as on my RDOS MASTER diskette), so once again
you must follow the same method of getting into the DOS, copy DOS with
Copy //+ and then boot up that disk, when it locks, simply hit control-reset
and you're in. The commands all seem to be the same with some slight changes
in syntax which I'm not going to cover here. If I release an editor based
in RDOS 3.3, I will put any updates on that that I may have noticed.
